Seawell Beaches

The beaches along the seawall have been rebuilt in several places after Ike and are pretty good. Go down 14^th to the seawall and turn right. You can walk to the beach at 14^th and Seawall as long as you are not carrying a lot of stuff.  It is only 3 city blocks or about 400 or 500 yards.  There are several good beaches from 14^th to 61^st. Parking is free along the seawall but you will need to get an early start (or get lucky) to find a spot to park on weekends. Some beaches rent chairs and umbrellas but few have bathrooms. We usually use these beaches in the late evening after the crowds die down.
