Porretto Beach – 10th and Seawal

Porretto Beach is one you can drive down on the beach and park on for $7 a day. Entry is at 10^th and seawall at the light. Get an early start (or get lucky) and park on the seawall for free.  Nearby jetties for fishing. McDonalds and Jack in the Box are within walking distance. You have an option of renting chairs and umbrellas (about $15 or $20). To get there go down 14^th to seawall. Turn left on the seawall.  Go 4 city blocks to the light at 10^th and turn right. There is a temporary ramp to drive down on the beach. If you walk make sure you cross at the lights. (14^th or 10^th).  This is our favorite beach because it is close, clean, and has parking / walking options.  Downside – closest bathroom is Stewart Beach or Jack in the Box. If this is a problem – suggestion – park as far as you can down toward Stewart Beach. Walk toward Steward Beach to set up.  Stewart Beach bathrooms are doable from there. Of course, there is always the Gulf of Mexico.
